The Organizing Committee of the 4th Annual Symposium on Hidradenitis Suppurativa Advances (SHSA) has issued a call for abstracts to be included in the symposium as either oral or poster presentations.
The SHSA is an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, scholars, and clinicians of different disciplines, co-hosted by both Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi, President of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation from the U.S.A. and Dr. Raed Alhusayen, President of the Canadian Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation. This year's SHSA will be held in Detroit on Nov. 1-3 and will be co-chaired by Dr. Michelle Lowes and Dr. Afsaneh Alavi.,.
Abstracts are requested on a number of topics:
Epidemiology and health services research
Clinical Research including quality of life
Comorbidities and complications
Clinical trial research and innovation
Basic and translational research
Medical treatments and wound care
Surgical intervention and treatments
The deadline for submission is Friday, July 5, and abstracts must be submitted online to www.shsaabstracts.com. Mailed or emailed abstracts will not be accepted.
Preferences for oral or poster presentations should be included with the submission. The organizers note that due to the limited number of oral presentations, meritorous abstracts submitted for the oral category will be accepted for poster presentation.
Notices will be sent to accepted abstract submitters by Monday, July 22, 2019.
