VIDEO: Researchers link type 2 diabetes to increased prevalence of skin diseases
Researchers have found an increased prevalence of skin diseases in Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), compared to non-diabetic Chinese adults. The research suggested significant differences of disturbances of pigmentation and neurological and psychogenic dermatoses across patients with normal glucose tolerance (NGT), impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and T2DM.
