Stimulating cells with electrical charges causes the cells to move toward the center of the wound, according to researchers of a new study.
They discovered this with the help of a new tool that predicts how cells migrate within a wound, according to the study, which was published in the Journal of Theoretical Biology (June 15, 2019; 478:58-73).
