CDA seeking nominations for Public Education Awards Program


The Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) is inviting submissions for its 2017 Public Education Awards Program.

The Public Education Awards program, according to a press release, is designed to publicly recognize the role played by the media, not-for-profit health organization, and industry in furthering the understanding of dermatology issues and encouraging healthy behaviour in the medical, surgical, and cosmetic care of skin, hair and nails.

Entries may be submitted in the following categories:

  • Industry

  • Media

  • Print (newspaper, consumer magazine, trade publication, etc.)

  • Radio

  • Television

  • Not-for-profit organizations

Entries can include articles, projects and activity descriptions, materials, and/or videos and must be received by February 15, 2017. All winners will be notified by May 1, 2017. The awards will be presented at the CDA's President's Banquet in Fredericton, June 24, 2017.
